For our Nike X Sacai passion project, we pushed the boundaries of 3D production by recreating an authentic live-action method entirely in 3D, blending simulated BTS moments. The goal was to showcase the fusion of two iconic Nike designs—LDV and Waffle Racer—into a single hybrid sneaker while blurring the lines between the virtual and real.
To reflect the duality of the collaboration, we combined 2D and 3D motion graphics, beginning with a detailed shot of the shoe and transitioning into a 3D set with simulated crew members and a dynamic production environment. The film alternates between live-action-style BTS sequences and polished product visuals, creating a seamless interplay of process and outcome.
This project highlights the craftsmanship of hybrid sneaker design and modern motion design, pushing 3D production to new heights. By simulating a real-world commercial shoot in 3D, we offered an immersive experience that honors the innovation behind Nike X Sacai.
